As you all probably know by now, the FA Beta is out, and the actual game will be released in the coming weeks. Additionally, SupCom retail has been updated to v3269, adding one additional unit to each faction. Due to a lack of time, I have not updated this website so everything is outdated. Thank you for continuing to support SupComLab, and hopefully in the near future, I will be able to update the unit guide after sufficient re-exposure to the SupCom universe.
With the start of school, I have had little time, if any, to get on to GPGnet and play a game. However, today I had some spare time to play a custom game. I decided from the very beginning of the game to do a massive lobo (UEF T1 light artillery) drop. Because it would be funny. I managed to kill a player (Green) by dropping 24 T2 Transports at 24 minutes. If you've ever wanted to see how effective dropping 300ish Lobos on an enemy ACU is, I highly recommend this replay. Today, I played in the GPGnet Early Open (Theme: Rush). They were offering an FA closed-beta key to the tournament winner for some reason so the competition was fierce. All four of my opponents were ranked in the top 1000 (three were ranked top 300). Even though my overall record was 2-2, the wins I had were really edge-of-your-seat entertainment. Both games were extremely close featuring fierce T1/T2 battles with commander-commander fighting. I've posted the replays for your enjoyment. Check it out! Welcome to Supreme Commander Lab! Does somebody out there know why people's names contain either a prefix or a suffix of _. I know people can name themselves whatever they want, but it seems that the _ is some sort of trend. Some examples of what I'm talking about: _Pink, _Infinite_ACU, TAG_ROCK_. I mean, isn't the name without the _ good enough? Here you can find the complete list of updates. |
